A brand new year is upon Hollow Shades and the bats are celebrating the turn of the year vigorously by consuming large amounts of alcohol distilled from their exotic fruits and the colts and fillies are excited to be waking up well before the sun has even set so that they may join their parents in celebration. Others may be setting out their plans and goals for the coming year, businesses are rushing about, preparing their new and improved business models and for those bats whose New Year came a tad early, they are passed out in their beds, sometimes with other bats having 'joined' them for the festivities.

The liquor stores of Hollow Shades are about to find that they've taken a hit to their stock that won't easily be recovered.
